Bailey Education
Check me out and stay awhile.I first constructed this webpage as a direction for myself. A collection of tip and tricks by longarm quilters. From time to time I will update the site and add to the Educational folder as I go..... As a side note I have tagged each post but it is not always an exact science, if it doesn't appear in the search bar snoop at the posts please and thank you

Get a Grip- with handles
Here is a sampling of the various types of handle arrangements of Bailey users. You might get some inspiration
There are several answers to this in my humble opinion 1) set your speed control knob to a higher or lower speed which ever suits you 2) Don't move too fast to outrun the machine, this is really noticeable in curves where you might see eyelashing. 3) I found that if you put on some music and worked with it I had less of a tendency to rush along and got into a melodic movement 4) Practice 5) When all else fails there is the stitch regulator, however I have no experience with this, I did notice I greatly improved with each quilt, I kept my speed control button in center ( I am on a frame) I speed up into the curves and slowed as I made the loop. Similar to driving when you pick up speed into the turn and then let the car ride the curve.
great ideas...
ReplyDeletemay i ask for any help regarding "stitch length control"... other than just going slower?
