Remember the first time you ever entered a competition and your parents told you how proud they were of you no matter what you brought home in the winning dept? As we got older competition became more precise and fierce between contestants.
Here is one site that outlines what is expected of a Juried Quilt Show . Not written in stone but it does give you an idea of what criteria is out there. Just remember - It is for the fun and love of quilting!!!

Continuous Prairie Points

I found this tutorial on Prairie Points. While I realize they are not as popular as they were when I painstakingly created them some 30 years ago, this is a neat tutorial. I wish I had known about this technique oh so long ago.Perhaps you might rethink about tackling these after this clip

One can never say enough about binding

There are many ways to bind a quilt from pillowcase to traditional mitered corners. Everyone has their favorites. I have included links above to show you alternatives.
